Chloe Shames~ Political Veritas {Norman High School ‘18} Chloe will be attending Yale University in the fall majoring in Global Affairs. Chloe is a National Merit Scholar, the High School Democrats of America- Oklahoma Chapter Co-Chair, ranked #1 in Lincoln Douglass Debate from spring 2016-winter 2018, a 2-time National Speech and Debate Tournament Qualifier, a Scholastic Gold Key winner in personal narrative writing, and a 2017 delegate at the American Legion Auxiliary’s “Girls Nation” Program. Chloe was also accepted to Swarthmore with the McCabe Scholarship, Tufts, UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Michigan, Emory, UMass Amherst with the Chancellor’s Award Scholarship, & the University of Oklahoma with a full National Merit Scholarship. Chloe is a primal example of dedication, brilliance, and passion. We love you Chloe!!🥀✨💛

Sarah Tooley~ Principal Political Writer {Mount St. Mary’s ‘18} Sarah will be attending Creighton University Honors College in the fall, double majoring in history and political science. In high school, Sarah actively participated in NHS, Key Club as Lieutenant Governor, and National Thespian Society as a presidential scholar. Sarah was also accepted to Colorado State, Rockhurst, Texas Christian, the University of Alabama, the University of Nebraska, Tulsa, Wichita State, & OU. She has obtained over $523,900 in scholarships, and $84,000 towards her tuition at Creighton, as well as $2,000 from the Texas Oklahoma District Foundation Mary Cowett Scholarship. We are so proud of you Sarah!!🎐✨

Jahnavi Nikkam- Team Member {Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics ‘18} “I’ve enjoyed being able to express and be a part of the rise of women empowerment through a wonderful platform, especially regarding current events.” Jahnavi will be attending Trinity University in the Fall- studying biological sciences with a focus in neurology, as well as entrepreneurship.
